At Alfred, when we are working on something, we put our heart and soul into it, so once we actually achieve something, the happiness that comes is amazing. The entire team celebrates and shares in it, everyone participates in that success, not just one or two people.
At Alfred, we hire interns for core functions like building apps, business development, and marketing. Just because somebody is 18 years old, we don't believe they can't work alongside us like regular team members. Many of our interns have extended their internships, completed consecutive internships, or joined us full time after they graduated.
TeamsWe have always believed that 19-year-olds and 20-somethings can change the world, so we give our reerachers lots of responsibility. They are expected to question conventional knowledge that we have never thought before, and they get evaluated on the same metrics as a scientist.
